One of my favourite things in the world is travelling and by far one of my most memorable vacation destinations has been Greece. I first visited Athens with my sister when we were 15 and loved the history and energy of the city. Greece has just given the world so much beauty, history and democracy. In summer of 2011 I went to Mykonos and Santorini for 2 weeks. Mykonos is such a fun, night life city and Santorini is visually stunning and one of the most romantic places in the world.
In Mykonos a must see is Paradise Beach, by far the best party I’ve been to. And head downtown for a late 10:30pm dinner and start the night. All the stores are open and its so fun walking the small, crowded streets. I also recommend going to Nammos – by far the most famous restaurant in Mykonos and it does not disappoint!
Santorini is a visual postcard, but bring your running shoes or comfy flip-flops because the entire city is a stair master! Watching the sunset in this city is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. While here attempt to do the “donkey run” by foot or donkey and visit my favourite restaurant Zafora. I honestly ate here at least once a day and it gives you the most beautiful view of the sunset and city.
